In and around Milnthorpe
St Thomas’ Church is located in the centre of the village of Milnthorpe, overlooking the green. This stunning Victorian building was constructed in 1837 by the architecture George Webster in the plain gothic style.
More recently, it has undergone a partial re-modelling, creating new community rooms, an expanded kitchen and toilet, and to add shower facilities. These modern facilities can be found upstairs, tucked away from the historic nave and chancel.
