In and around Rollestone
This tiny, charming church was owned for centuries by the religious crusading order of the Knights Hospitaller. It is made of flint and stone chequerwork, hence the chequerboard effect on the external walls. St Andrew’s overlooks the River Till and is less than two miles from the famous prehistoric monument of Stonehenge. There is plenty to do in the vicinity, from guided walks through ancient landscapes to jeep safaris and even skydiving!
Dogs are welcome.
