I absolutely loved spending the night in this gorgeous little Cumbrian number with four of my besties and a whippet! We found it really cosy (if not disappointingly unspooky) and we were really impressed with the facilities – great clean loos, tea/coffee and loads of useful crockery. Our Champbot showed up the second we arrived and was really friendly and helpful in getting us settled. We also loved the location – there’s a beautiful five mile walk around the dale (which can be cut in half) – it was incredibly peaceful and quite refreshing to be totally cut off from the outside world for a while. All in all, a comfy night, and we’d recommend this to anyone! #champingnotglamping #champingisforchamps
