I enjoyed a sublime champing time with my dear friend Jenny whose birthday gift allowed us to share a wonderful time at St Cuthberts, Holme Lacey in Herefordshire.. I was struck by the tasteful and very unobtrusive camping facilities provided. I loved sleeping next to the medieval knight ( with his feet on his dog) and his lady. This was indicative of the whole atmosphere. The wonderful stained glass windows and hatchments along the walls, all helped to make this a camping stay like no other. The gargoyle resplendent over the outdoor facilities, added a tongue- in- cheek architectural symmetry with St Cuthberts.
I unreservedly recommend champing Perfect in every way! I can’t wait to savour the atmosphere of another beautiful church in an idyllic location.
