Our first Champing trip as a family of four plus two dogs. It was a surprise for the children ages 10years and 12years. We found booking easy and getting the email and details were very clear. I contacted our chambot ‘Lynda’ who was really helpful as we had to leave early in the morning for an appointment. The church was great and very interesting, we all loved how it was set up and the nice letter from Lynda. She also told us where the Dog bin was at the end of the lane and we found another when we took a walk through a footpath from the church car park which lead towards the town. Here we found a pub that had a small garden ideal for our dogs as it was quiet. After getting a take-away we walked the same route back and sat on a bench to eat before heading back to the church. We had an evening game of scrabble which we had bought with us. When it was dark the children enjoyed a game of hide and seek. My daughter had a hot chocolate provided and then we tucked ourselves up for the night. None of us had any problems with the dry toilet! In the morning it was a quick coffee, dog walk and pack away.
