We had a remarkable stay in this church, our first. It was quite breathtaking walking into the church for the first time. The silence was intense but comforting and calm, not scary. A lovely welcome from Christine. Facilities were basic but good, what we expected. We had a comfortable nights sleep, enjoying the darkness and quiet although the early morning country sounds were interesting. A very special experience. Local pub and farm shop great for evening meal and breakfast.
