Just home after our first champing adventure with my 3 kids and dog. I cannot thank everyone enough for getting us there and settled in the first place. From the lovely Charlotte, who took my phone call whilst on the bus, after I realised I’d arrived on the wrong night! The amazing Kate who pulled it all together at short notice, so we could still stay and talked me through how to find the toilet! Such a special experience, to stay inside such a beautiful building, with all the little lights & finishing touches, like fairy lights, cozy blankets, chocolates for the kids, treats for the dog and even a wine cooler. It was far less basic than I expected, with a water dispenser and dry toilet (albeit outside in the graveyard!). And definitely the coolest place to be on a hot, July night. We’d love to come again – hopefully on the right night next time!
