Such a Wonderful Stay in Alwincle!
The church was just beautiful, slightly smaller than other ones we had stayed in which I liked (there were only 2 of us). We stayed in July so the church wasn’t too cold. The toilet is inside the church which is nice. There is no running water but there is drinking water and a kettle provided so its not a problem.
I would really recommend the farmers breakfast, it was delicious & a real treat having breakfast brought to us!
The only thing that would have made it better is if there were some information about the church, it seems a shame to stay in it and not know more about the history.
