The church was beautiful and atmospheric. It’s a vigorous uphill walk, but through some wonderful landscape.

However, there was a problem with our stay, in that we had paid for sleeping bags, pillows, and pillow cases, but they were not laid out on our cots when we arrived, and although the day had been hot it was EXTREMELY cold in the church overnight. Eventually I found some pillows in a storage box in a side room, and two sleeping bags in a dark corner of a different room (no pillow cases turned up). Considering that we paid £25 each for these items, I was disappointed that they were not provided as we had been assured.
