We have just returned from our first ever champing stay at Warminghurst (2 adults and one dog) Warminghurst is a lovely light and peaceful church full of interesting features. It was well set up upon our arrival with everything we needed for our nights stay. We were pleasantly surprised with the separate tea making area in the north vestry and the inside toilet in the south vestry – all very comfortable and convenient! I was pleased with the location as there are good dog walks across the fields from just outside the church! Highlights of the stay were standing in the churchyard looking at the starry sky and then waking up in the morning to the sun streaming through the east window. I really didn’t want to leave as the church felt so welcoming and ‘homely’. We will definitely be returning.
